ABOUT THE TALENT

Bamako de Muze, the sire of the embryo, was successful in international showjumping for many years, up to and including five-star level. His offspring are coveted for their limitless scope and fantastic competitive spirit. He holds 36th place in the WBFSH sire ranking, thanks to outstanding performers, such as Pjotr van de Kruishoeve (winner of the Derby and a 1m60 class in Hickstead, David Simpson), Portobella van de Fruitkorf (winner of the 5* GP in Wellington, Emilie Conter), Albfuehren’s Iashin Sitte (in 2026, winner of the 5* GP in Dublin, Steve Guerdat), Lector VD Bisschop (winner of the 5* GP and Nations Cup in Sopot, Koen Vereecke), Belle Amie VD Dassenheide Z (5*, 1m60 level, Lacey Gilbertson) and Brin d’Or de Haute Melen Z.

Kyra van Klapscheut, the dam of this embryo, produced the international showjumpers Obi van Klapscheut and Byblosh-K van Kattenheye Z. Obi excelled in the 5* circuit, under the saddle of Mariana Frauches Chaves. The 7-year-old Byblosh-K has been successfully competing at 1m40 to 1m45 level, in partnership with Marcus Ehning. Byblosh-K is a daughter of Bamako de Muze and is therefore a full sister to the embryo. Kyra’s dam, Farah van Klapscheut, performed at 1m60 level and is a half-sister to a series of international showjumpers, including Coriana van Klapscheut, Fenom van Klapscheut, Blendy van Klapscheut and Quana van Klapscheut. The offspring from BWP lineage 109 are sought after for their scope and competitive spirit.
