ABOUT THE TALENT

Her sire, Casallco, belongs to the Holsteiner breeding family 8798 and has in his pedigree the progenitors Casall, Contender and Carthago. In 2022, he won bronze at the German Senior Championships and made his five-star debut under the saddle of his regular rider, Philip Rüping. Everything points to him passing on his showjumping qualities to his offspring. These include : Cavoiro-H (bronze in the 5* Nations Cup in Hickstead in July 2025, 8th in the 5* GP in Valkenswaard a month later and 11^th in the 5* GP in Calgary in September, Roy Van Beek), Acajou (winner of the 4* 1m55 GP of Ocala in 2025), Casallco’s George PS (3^rd in the 4* 1m60 GP of Wiesbaden) and Casa Diva PS (5*, Alvaro González de Zarate Fernandez).

The foal’s dam, Granate, was very successful in the sport. With the Danish rider Andreas Schou in the saddle, she won, among others, a 5* GCT/GCL 1m55 class in Valkenswaard and a 4* 1m45 class in Pinneberg, and ranked 2^nd in the 5* Nations Cup in Sopot and Falsterbo. She makes part of a well-bred Dutch breeding family. Her dam, Bruijer II, is a half-sister to the international showjumpers Wervel (achieved several top 5 places in international Grands Prix and produced Caletto, who jumped at 1m60 level), Flying-Sam, Harvester (performed at 4* 1m50 level, Erynn Ballard) and CW Incorporated (4*, 1m45 level, Andrew Welles). This lineage also includes other outstanding showjumpers, such as Fabrice DN (with whom Matthew Sampson triumphed in the 5* 1m60 GP in Calgary), the 5* GP stallion Grandorado TN (Willem Greve), Kaspar R (with whom Harrie Smolders performed very successfully at 5* level) and Ziedento (who was successful in the USA and Canada in World Cup classes and Grands Prix).
