ABOUT THE TALENT

Impress-K van ’t Kattenheye is by Indoktro K van ’t Kattenheye out of Julia VD Donkhoeve. Julia is a granddaughter of the famous 5* Grand Prix and Nations Cup mare Utopia van de Donkhoeve, in turn dam of the outstanding 5* showjumpers Allegro and Farao van de Donkhoeve. Don Juan van de Donkhoeve, with whom Jessica Springsteen won team silver at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, also belongs to this BWP lineage 61. With Thibeau Spits in the saddle, Impress-K excels at 5* 1m60 level. Some highlights of their career so far: team gold at the European Championship in La Coruña, winner of the 5* GP in Riesenbeck and Fontainebleau, 2^nd place in the 5* GP in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and 3^rd place in the 5* GP in Geneva. What a top performer!

Imperatrice-K also has a Bilderbuch pedigree on her dam’s side. Her dam, To Me-K van Kattenheye, has been competing in international showjumping classes for young horses since September 2025, in partnership with Kendra Claricia Brinkop. And how? Almost always clear and winning prize money! In August 2026,  the duo also remained faultless in the final of the Belgian Championship for 7-year-olds. Her granddam, Eloubet van de Doorndonkhoeve, is a golden broodmare. To date, she has produced five approved stallions for breeding, and five of her first six offspring have caused a furore in international showjumping. Typical for her offspring are a good competition mentality, a lot of scope, good foreleg technique, a willingness to work, and they are generally energetic.
