This five-year-old gelding combines impressive scope and excellent technique with an uphill canter, balance and rideability. His granddam Hermeline is the dam of Willem Greve’s 1.60m Grand Prix winner Candy Luck Z and a full sister to Cian O’Connor’s 1.65m Good Luck, European team gold and individual bronze medallist, while their maternal sister Kismet 50 competed at 1.60m Grand Prix level with Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum.With talent of his own and generations of performance behind him, Elroy is a horse to produce for the big classes, just as so many from this family have done before him.
